This typeface will open more font options to people who use Korean fonts, especially for Korean designers who have very few font choices. Because of the typeface’s neutral and modern geometric appearance, it will provide broad usage for both designers and general public in various designs. It also contributes to development of Korean typography by following an innovative way of designing a font for Korean font designers. It introduces an efficient and effective way of designing a typeface by maintaining each character within a same proportion throughout different combinations of various syllabuses. This will also bring visual rhythms which can be found in English font types by having a baseline, with characters occupying a space over and under the baseline, whereas Korean traditional typefaces are rather rigid in design and are confined in a square box.
A website for this typeface becomes a vehicle for general public including designers to the typeface. The website provides free download for the typeface, which allows many people to access and use the font. It realistically solves many difficulties of reaching out to the public and serves a main purpose of this thesis project, which is to provide a well-designed typeface to both the Korean design community and the general public. The website will also have different explanations about the typeface. One of the main goals of this project is to provide the typeface for different people who visit the site, ranging from Korean designers who have lots of knowledge on Korean typography to to non-Koreans who barely have any knowledge on Korean typography. The website will mainly function as a font provider with concise explanations, and it will hold no more than two or three pages for clarity and simplicity.
The typeface and the website should function as a set. Typeface is content and website is a content provider. One cannot function without the other in order to achieve the ultimate goal of this thesis project. Therefore, the typeface carries multiple concepts, which are providing a typeface and developing Korean typography, and the website becomes a vehicle to introduce the typeface and explain about its concepts to the public.

You have arrived at a clear, strong, focused thesis project. I look forward to seeing you develop it visually. Your writing is basically correct (good job!). You have a tendency to be repetitive and to use extra phrases. Focus on the big idea in each paragraph you write, and don’t try to fill up space with more words. Think about what you want to say, and then say it as directly as possible.
